Because England is not America, we have different import duty and taxes like VAT to deal with......

Left several comments regarding this myself. Would suspect it's a combination of DJI fleecing more cash off you and UK stealth dipping there hands in your wallet.

LOL well clearly you have a lot to learn about the worldwide import and export of goods and the various duty's and manufacturing standards that apply.

True, that VAT is a real Killer to you folks on the other side of the Pond.

I used to work in IT with a worldwide role.

Bottom line is the UK is a lot more expensive to work in, whether you're talking office space, taxes or anything else.  These things have to be factored into the price.

How does this compare to P2 pricing differences?

So the VAT is the same all over US?

Value added tax (VAT) at 17.5% is what the UK government add to goods sold here in the UK, if importing from outside the EU you will also have to pay Customs Duty of 2.5% or above on the value of the item.

Every country is different, that's why you cannot just convert a $ price to £ and expect to get the same price in another country.

Then you have to factor in shipping and the distribution network to physically get the goods to the UK.

Even in Germany its cheaper than the UK by about £154

VAT in the UK is currently 20%. Has been for couple of years.

Quite right, that's what being retired does to the brain...

Phantom 3 Pro with extra battery is $2099 AUD, so other countries outside of the US are not alone!  Damn import tax lol

Still almost £200 cheaper than the UK

Luckily for me I am going to the USA on 22nd May, I'm hoping if i place an order now it will be with me during my two week stay, might aswell get the Pro version with extra battery as it runs in at the same price as the advanced without battery over here in the UK - Adam

Sorry mate that was info i got from a supplier in Sweden who talked to DJI
