Does anyone have a use for the artifical horizon in DJI Go4 app, maybe night flying or in clouds ?

Not sure what that is?  Can you give a bit more detail?

You'll notice in the compass, at the bottom left of the DJI Go4 screen , that there is a blue overlay that moves around when you tilt or re-orientate the AC , e.g. banking, rolling or diving it etc.

Once in a while when my gimbal wants to reset in flight I'll look at the artificial horizon to make sure it's only the gimbal and not the mavic that's going whacko.

In my opinion the "radar" (as many call it) is one of the best features of the Go app and is one of the reasons I use Go instead of Litchi for "manual" flying.

Its very handy for judging the wind affecting the craft.  I fly using radar mode all the time, far more useful for me in general than a map.

Treat it as your friend. The radar and horizon are one of the best features in the GO 4 app.

WOW. I have been flying for 4 months now and never noticed the horizon indicator. Thanks. Guess you are never to old to learn something new.
