Is there a fix yet for this camera setting reset to default on the P4P. This is really killing my workflow. I've tried everthing possible refresh firmware, reset camera, reload app etc etc.

Just to verify, have you tried to click the pen icon in Camera Settings to save your settings? Generally. once the parameters are saved properly, you should be able to load it, please confirm.

That all looked very deliberate.
Is there any particular reason you set still image size to 16:9 ?

I could not hear what you said throughout the entire clip, so I cannot help.

I've tried pen icon in custom it will save but does not load. All my other drones I1P, Mavic Pro, I2 all startup with the last camera settings. The last P4P firmware resets the following

Items that reset

-Camera Setting i.e. Raw back to jpeg / 4k 60 back to 4k 30
-Camera Setting i.e. Manual back to Auto
-Camera Setting i.e. ISO 100 back to Auto
-Camera Setting i.e. WB 5500 back to Auto
-Camera Setting i.e. Custom -1-2-2 back to None
-Camera Setting i.e. Color CINE LIKE back to None
-Camera Setting i.e. Histogram Displayed back to Not Displayed
-Camera Setting i.e. File Series, Continuous back to Reset

Thats what it reverts to. I set it at 4:3 and after every power cycle it reverts back to 16:9 along with the following

Thanks. I thought that was just for a set of custom settings. I just want to be able to turn off the drone and when I turn it back on again, the same camera settings are there as with the Mavic. I'll give it a try.

thats all I want too. its always been that way and all the other drone models restart with your last setup. Sounds like a basic firmware developer error that was not caught in testing.

Just give me V01.03.0509 back rename it V02.01.0001 that was by far the best stable firmware I've flown since starting with the Phantom 1

If you want the largest image size, that is 3:2
Image Size       
3:2 Aspect Ratio: 5472 × 3648
4:3 Aspect Ratio: 4864 × 3648
16:9 Aspect Ratio: 5472 × 3078

oopppps yep your right my bad on video .....3:2 gives you a full 20mp photo.

since we are on the topic why when shooting RAW does it not use the full sensor.

Wouldn't this be a firmware issue ? Also did the devolopers / enginners looking into the camera reset issue. Video above

Double check, does the issue appear every time? If yes, it is suspected as hardware glitches, please confirm.

No, I have not bought the Phantom, but it is on my shortlist.
Just waiting for the right sale here in NL.
So I am curious if you find a fix for this since it would be either a lot of work every time OR something I forget and find out after returning home (that my settings were wrong)

Got it back from DJI Repair all fixed, unknown what was the issue , wish they would sent out what was repaired for reference. But at any rate all is good again.

I wonder whether the internal SD card, which is presumably where the config is saved, was write-protected...

Interesting ..... I never knew there was an internal SD. Seems plausible that this could of been the issue but without a repair report I will never know.

Sorry for digging this up again. Was there any actual resolution other than sending it in for service?

I am having a very similar issue with I2, and GO4 on Crystal Sky, with two radios. Infuriating and expensive timewise, especially if the reset isn't noticed.

Unfortunately my issue is intermittent. Hard to replicate as it doesn't happen every time.
