Hello,

Does anyone know - or can quickly test - if you can adjust the return to home altitude while the RTH is in progress?
What happens if you try?

Cheers

You can use the left stick to climb or descend while in RTH as long as you have signal.

Messing around with it, while RTH is in progress would likely be a mistake, and may cause grief.

Just set it and forget it. But check that height or reset after all updates, firmware or app.

Thanks for checking. Much appreciated.

I agree it's not a good move. That's partly why I was wondering.

If the rain stops this weekend I'm going to run some tests.

When RTH happens, often it catches the pilot off guard. In that case, it is wise to adhere to Labroides advice to use the left stick to climb or descend and keep your eyes on where the aircraft is going. But you cannot change anything if the aircraft has lost connection with the RC unit.

Sure you could test it, but advise to be rather low to the ground and very close to home.

Just incase...

Agree with Labroides. A proper RTH altitude is important during the RTH progress. I'll attach the user manual for your reference.
