Hey Guys,

So I replaced my Mavic Pro camera assembly and would like to use the old camera for home security instead of just letting it sit and collect dust. The gimble does not work but the video is fine when it was connected to the Mavic.

If someone has any ideas on how I could possibly connect the camera to a Raspberry Pi or an arduino or something of the sorts for live video transmission that would be great.

Interesting, I’m going to follow this one too.

Without the rest of the mavic the camera is useless....

I'm not sure anything will plug into another device with the video cable on the Mavic's camera?

If there's a will, I'm sure there's a way. Good idea; it'll be interesting if you pull this off.

It would be way easier to get a small ccd camera from Amazon/ebay, and go from there.

The camera is only a small part of the system, you need the video processor chip which is inside the body of the aircraft.
