I was in a field by my house, testing out my Mavic's high wind capabilities, and I came across these two VERY camera-friendly Whitetail bucks... It was almost like they were posing for me, so I had to get some shots!
I put together this short video of them, and would love to hear your guy's thoughts, especially about the brightness. It was hard to work with the lighting in this one, and on some screens it looks a little dark, and others bright enough. Any input is greatly appreciated!

Man, those beautiful animals look so much better with their heads attached to their live bodies.  Nice footage.

Yup it was windy

You should have raced with them to see how fast they can outrun the MP!

Deer mating season, called "Rut", goes from November til January.  Does your Mavic perchance have a white rear end?

Actually I really liked the lighting as the deer almost melded into the background.

Thank you!
Yeah, I was surprised that they didn't take off when I got closer to them. From my experience, bucks don't seem to get as skiddish as does. Another time I spotted a big group of does, they all ran for the woods when I was still like 50-100 yards away.

Lucky you for being allowed by these magnificent animals to approach them so close! Aerial footage gives a whole new perspective on how well they camouflage against the background.

A similar experience of mine, flying with two geese (see if you can spot them).

I like the mood of the sunset, though bumping EV by +0.3 would have  been welcome. Do you have histogram window up in the app? I find it  really helpful.

Yeah, it was at least 20 mph, with gusts likely higher. The Mavic held up VERY well in the wind. I was very surprised.

And I doubt they would have taken Mavic in sport mode, in a race.

Yeah, it is definitely the rut right now. I can't drive down the streets near this area, without having to stop/slow down to avoid hitting wandering deer. This is a no hunting area, so they are ALL OVER the place.
And you found out my secret for attracting them with my drone... Shhh!  ;)
