During flight , at times the drone wont go backwards. Some times the down stick wont respond. If I turn right the draone will turn left.....It will fix itself once I land. Is this a IMU calabration problem?

Yes it's in GPS mode.

I recalabrated the IMU and Compass. took her up a few feet. when I move forward the unit starts to go backwards then lunges forwards. If you go upo the unit will land hard and then bounce up. If would be cool if it wasnt a $500 drone. I cant find anything wrong on the logs from my Android.

Have you gone into menu and set :

Mode correctly for what you want ?

Then calibrated the Controller sticks ?

What's the current mode of your RC?  Mode 1, Mode 2 or Custom? Please make sure you have chosen the right mode and try to calibrate the RC.
