Just took some video with the spark.Not messed with any settings or anything and looking back at them after I transferred the files from spark to dji app/iPads camera roll the quality seems grainy in parts and not very smooth.Is the quality better transferred directly from the SD card to a PC?

Yes, low res copies on the handset, full res on sd card

the video saved by default on the device is at best 720p, but is limited to the quality of the downlink signal.  You can download the full-quality file to the device through the editor in DJI Go4

I would recommend you view the high res video in PC for better performance.

So as a new user, the quality stored on the SD card is better than on the phone via the App?  I am disappointed with the quality of the video so far, but arent storing on a SD card.
