Black Friday is coming up and I’m sure everyone is excited for Black Friday! To show our appreciation of our fantastic community here on the forum, we wanted to get you folks even more excited about Black Friday! As a special promotion only available here, we are running a contest that will allow 10 users to win coupons to save even more!

  

All you have to do is share original content you create using a DJI product that’s in Black & White. Just set the Color mode to Black & White, take a photo or video, and let your imagination run wild.

  

STEPS TO PARTICIPATE

  

1.       Go to the “EVENTS” section, click on “New Thread”

  

2.       Choose the “Black Friday” thread category.

  

3.       Create an interesting title

  

4.       Post your content in the main body of the thread and submit

  

5.       Respond to users that comment to stimulate discussion. Share your tips and tricks and more!

  

The Black Friday Forum contest is open to anyone and you can use any DJI products.

  

Note (and this is important): With this contest, unlike any other contest we’ve had in the past, not only will your content be judged by your friendly DJI Forum Admins, but also how much user activity your content generates. What this means is the more people respond to your thread, the more questions are asked and answered, praise given, comments made etc, the more heavily weighted your submission will be in the judging process.

  

PRIZES

  

There will be 10 coupons awarded, each 5% off, that can be used to any consumer products (the Spark or Mavic series (platinum excluded), Phantom series (Obsidian excluded), or Osmo series) and accessories at the DJI Online Store during our Black Friday promotion.

  
  

The contest starts NOW and ends November 20th at midnight Pacific Time, so get your submissions in quickly so it can generate some activity!

  

FAQ

  

1)      Is there any limitation on the devices used?

  

·         As long as the primary camera/device you use is a DJI product, your submission will be accepted.

  

2)      What type of content will be accepted?

  

·         You can submit photos or videos of any size or length, respectively.

  

3)      How many submissions can I make?

  

·         Each user will be allowed to make as many submissions as he or she pleases!

  

4)      How many times can I win?

  

·         Each user will only be allowed to win 1 once.

  
  

All submitted content is subject to the general forum rules.

If I use footage that was captured in color, and submit a photo after it has been post-processed to black and white, is this a valid submission? Or the footage has to be taken black and white to start with?

This is valid as well.

You can do that and we warmly welcome that!
Because we all believe that our osmo provide more angles and possibles to just take a photo by iPhone.
Although others may think Osmo is just kinds of tool or something, actually, in my view, Osmo provide more chances for just taking a photo.
So just feel free to share you work here, whatever you device is, as long as you use one DJI product.

Hey, sooo sorry for the late reply. Did you click on the "NEW THREAD" after editing or just save it as draft?
If you click on the "NEW THREAD " button, but find your work nowhere, could you find the link?

I see that they are drafts. How to submit? All I see is Reply choice.

Could you edit the draft? If you can, click "EDIT" and then you will find the "NEW THREAD" button at the bottom. Try it and if it does not work, please tell me.  Don't be worried about that.

hey, here is a way maybe can work for you. Could you please EDIT your draft and then you will see the
"NEW THREAD" button at the bottom, which is exactly the one to click on. If this still does not work, please tell me.

There is no option to edit. Up at the top right there is "home/events". Then at bottom is a blue reply tab.
I have the 4 posts I tried(all same photo) on my home page in posts folder, with "draft" in red.
I'm using an iPad mini. Sorry again for all the trouble.

step1.
If I enter the create page and type something, there are two options at the bottom, say, "NEW THREAD" and "SAVE".
If I click on "New Thread", it will directly generate a new thread.
But you found your thread are all appeared as draft, so follow me to step 2 to 4.
Step 2.
Although you save the thread as a draft, it has one link. So when you share it out, only you can see it while others cannot.
Open your draft and see if there is an "edit"  at the corner, which is circled by me in the screenshot.
Step 3.
Adjust something if you need. If not, click on the "New Thread " button at the bottom.
Step 4.
After all these, you will find your thread listing in the page.

The photo is now in the Black Friday spot, but I could only upload by using the reply. So it shows as post #2. Not sure what others see when clicking on my post? The picture upload button Wouldn't work until I hit reply.
Check if you can and see if it works for you. If not I'll just back off and enjoy others work.

There is no Black Friday in the topic and I need to select a topic if I’m posting a thread, there is also no option to post in your Black Friday thread.

Also your title on your picture says Frinday maybe that should be Friday and a BW picture may be a better option.

Hopefully all this whining won’t hamper my chance of winning an inspire2. Lol

I managed to find it another route - but thanks.
New problem is that my posted image loads in the wrong rotated position on the thread page - would be nice to get through something without so many steps backwards each time.

34 hours on my Mavic and is flying great!  A few head scratching moments I’ve ran into and hope some one can explain on this site.  First the Mavic will not climb because it’s reached it’s max altitude and it’s only 50 feet above ground where as I have max range and 8000m set in settings.  I land and next flight it’s ok.  I have a class E airspace above me that ( live in the country) it does do it all the time!  

Im definitely going to lose. I have a Phantom 3 Standard with a 2.7K camera, and like 0 space on my computer.
