I never crashed my Phantom, but out of nowhere now, when I move the camera up and down via the control, it pauses for a second and then seems to have a little trouble going into the direction that I want (up and down). I've seen some crazy videos on youtube of damaged gimbals and their camera is flipping around everywhere but this isn't the case here.
I'm not 100% sure but maybe it's because I left the little clear plastic stabalizer gizmo on for alittle too long before. Which was only 5-6 seconds before I realized to take it off, but I can't imagine something like that could ruin such an expensive gizmo so easily... I mean I've seen these things crash hard and work fine after.
And on further inspection it looks like when it's turned on the camera isn't PERFECTLY horizontal but off a few mm.
I saw a youtube video where a guy corrected this problem, but that wouldn't work for me, I couldnt get the thing to realign.
I can post pictures and videos later if that helps...
or try this first and let us know....but video and picts are worth a thousand words!
As for the adjustment of the horizontal plane, there is a fairly simple procedure for that on youtube, should take but a few minutes but lets make sure the other is corrected first...FYI...Mine has been twitcy from day one from the thumb whell and i never use it, i always use the control on my phone...Speaking of which, is it smooth from your phone/tablet?
The twitching at the top and bottom. The calibration that North provided will cure that. Have both the remote control on and the Phantom, follow the instructions to the letter and it will be smooth. Do not connect anything to the computer.
