Just received a Cendence Remote Controller. Have not used it yet, but I have to say I am very, very impressed by the quality of the product, even minute details have been taken into consideration. The extra antenna (Free as a promo for a short time) is as well engineered as the rest of it. Congrats DJI.

Did some super quick testing...
- With Patch Antenna signal loss is almost instant, as the signal is really weak.
- If I disconnect the Patch Antenna from the can bus, the signal is still weak but it actually improves, suggesting that it's either a short circuit in the Patch Antenna, or the remote itself
- If I connect the regular antennas, signal is fine

It seems that the problem is between the remote + Patch Antenna + Can Bus connection.

Eventually you get signal lost. One time I also got warnings such as restrictions and the video signal was never regained. I had to reboot the unit,

Hard to say, I feel the video is the first to go, but like I said, once the Patch Antenna is all plugged in, the signal drops dramatically.

Glad to hear your take on it. Hopefully mine will arrive next week. All reports so far have been positive.

Please report on whether the focus control works. There is  a report that there are issues with the focus control.

Will try it in the next few days, but I thought the issues were fixed with the firmware update.

Mine was working fine until I performed a controller recalibration.....

Now the right control wheel no longer controls the camera panning movement.

Has anyone else had this issuue?

It seems the Patch Antenna, but it's hard to tell, as it could be the can bus as well. I used it with 2.4

Sounds like you have a defective antenna. Check the resistance of the antenna. I'll check mine when it arrives and we can see if there is a difference. Maybe Rich can check his and pass that along.

Just in case anyone else has the same problem:

The problem with right wheel failing to control gimbal yaw/pan after a remote controller recalibration was resolved by performing the recalibration again but remembering to move the right wheel left & right several times after doing both sticks and the left wheel but before pressing finish.

What do you mean the last update? last update for FW or Go app? If you share your experience earlier, a lot of people may not have to go through as a beta tester. Having 2 months head start, you should be in a good position to tell us what works and not for new Cadence. Please share your experience.

When it arrived the remote needed an update, which was performed.
I never tried it before, as I updated it on boot, but another user suggests that might be the problem.

I did update it immediately after unboxing, as the update was required. The Patch Antenna was indeed mounted, as it came standard with the remote.

The update release on monday the one that brings the patch antenna glitch thats why
