Wonder if a Samsung Note 3 ( 3 gb ram, 16 Gb memory ) is good enough to fly the Mavic?
It'll be dedicated for just Mavic and little else.

No. I bought Samsung Note 3 only for my Mavic. I had few issues. Hang up phone, hang up DJI Go 4 and sometimes big  delay in the picture. So I changed to HTC One M8s and i'm was not satisfied again. I had no issues with my HTC10 but i don't want use my mobile with Mavic so I bought Ipad Mini 4 finaly.

Thanks.  Wonder what is the ram and sotrage capacity of you HTC 10 that finally worked ?  Same here, I have an ASUS hat has 4gb ram and 64gb storge, and it works fine, but I want a separate phone for Mavic.

I'm using Samsung Note 3, initially it had FPV lag during recording but after few tweaks it's perfect.

Samsung NOTE3 is the device on our support list. It should work with DJI GO/ DJI GO 4 properly. If you have any question about this device, please feel free to let me know. I will do my best to help. BTW, below is the compatible device chart, only FYI.

Tweaks supported by any custom kernel like governor, IO scheduler, thermal, voltage etc. Temperature throttling was the issue.

Ok, I (so far) have not tweaked my Samsung

I have a Sony Z Ultra I use with my Mavic which is similar hardware to the Note 3 (both Snapdragon 800's unless you have the Exynos version), I did initially have some issues with crashes and the screen breaking up but after wiping the Sony, only installing DJI and an update to the DJI software I find it works well

My Samsung Note 3 is not compatible with the DJI Ffy app for the Mavic Mini
Any solution?
