I'd prefer to use the DJI GO app on my tablet as opposed to my smartphone.  However, I have been unable to install any version of the app past version 4.1.9 on my tablet (Nokia N1 - running Android version 5.1.1).  Each time I download the apk > install > open the file, my device gets stuck on a screen with the following error message:

"Failed to get resource file.  Please check your network connection and retry."  I AM connected to the Internet, so that is definitely not the issue.

Does anyone have the solution?  Or am I resolved to using my smartphone instead of my tablet?  My smartphone has auto updated to the latest version (4.1.15) without any issues.

Make sure the app has been deleted from the tablet (check in the list of installed apps) and then install it via Google Play Store.

And please also try to use the mobile device's app manager or app market to see if you could update it.

You need to get the resource file for the DJI GO 4 app specifically for the version v4.1.15 and variant (for tablet 2027412, for phone 1027412) then place it in your internal storage e.g. /sdcard/Android/obb/dji.go.v4/main.2027412.dji.go.v4.obb.

How to get it? Copy from a temporary working tablet if you have one or get it from mine dl.dropbox.com/s/6iv0rusrrhlgi9u/main.2027412.dji.go.v4.obb.zip then unzip to the location above before launching the app, note I'll remove this link after few days to recover my limited space.

Use a VPN or proxy within your phone/tablet?

Tried it with VPN and it works perfectly.

Jordan, version 4.1.22 is all you need for an older android version. Never upgrade when it contains only update's for other drones.

I did it with the help of this app , though it didn't make any destruction but the phone became a little slow , alternatively ]apps] like youtube and vidMate[/url] aren't performing good.
