Hello friend, I have an issue with my DJI Mavic pro battery, it wont power on the craft and will not charge.

Is the battery new?
Has it ever worked?
Did you recently update the firmware on the Mavic?
Will the battery turn on at all now?

Yes the battery is new
It never worked did it out of the box
there has been no firmware updates
and the battery wont turn on

Try to do a firmware update with the batter in the drone. Connect the drone to computer with bad battery and allow update. That might help. I guess some people say the batteries need updates also from time to time. Good luck.

iv tried that the drone wont boot up so it wont connect to the pc, I really am begining to think iv bought a dud

You may have already done this.....But.....try leaving the battery plugged into the charger for at least an hour.  See if that does anything.

Just to make sure it didn't go into hibernation mode.

Had it plugged in for more than an hour and it just does the same.
Shame because it was perfect weather for my first flight today
