I have been flying over 6 months no issues, all of a sudden, I got a compass error. I calibrated the compass all seamed good.

  

Next day can’t get over 100 feet away without RC signal loss. I have looked at all of the fixes on line relink, EMU calibrate, Controller Calibrate, tryed to downgrade firmware no joy

  

it will not downgrade have reinstalled latest firmware.  The system distance and Hight limit is not checked. I even tryed setting it to 500m will not work. Everything is working OK as it should but I’m limited to 100 to 150 feet on the RC signal.

  

  

Also tryed flying in other area’s remote desert no joy, same issue.

Sorry to hear this, have you contacted DJI support? they should be able to help you.

No there closed on weekends, I will try on monday.  

Had any crashes, or hard landings?

Is there any obvious damage of the antenna? Have you tried to re-install the APP? Please help us confirm, thanks!

But if that was the issue he would get a notice of max distance, not loss of RC signal.

Once 1.9.2 firmware is installed, you must log into and out of your DJI account through the app to release the restrictions before your first flight.

Normally if he´s not logged in then the RC is beeping and the app tells him that the AC reached the fence and stops there. But the RC and AC still with all signals.  That issue is a possible hardware issue.

Straight out of the 1.9.2 firmware update warning. Log out, and log back in to DJI via the app.

FYI I tried to reset the controller to factory defaults per DJI tech support, it would not reset. So I replaced the controller and the problem went away. So the controller went bad.
