Trim Castle is a Norman castle on the south bank of the River Boyne in County Meath, Ireland. With an area of 30,000 m², it is the largest Norman castle in Ireland.  Trim Castle was also depicted as York in the Mel Gibson 1995 film Braveheart





The Yellow Steeple is the site of the former St. Mary's Augustinian Abbey. It was situated on the north bank of the River Boyne, opposite Trim Castle, on land given to St. Patrick.  Little remains of the abbey except for the Yellow Steeple, the ruin of the abbey bell tower named for the yellow colour reflected by the stonework in the setting sun.




Seem to be getting a bit of a jello effect in some scenes.  Not sure why.  Again comments, advice and constructive criticsim are welcome.

Great video, and I like the colors so much. As for the jello, you can calibrate the IMU to check.

Thanks Susan, I did do a IMU re-cal only a few days before, just prior to the Connemara video.

I'll try another IMU recalibration in the near future.

I changed the rubber dampers and put new props on it to
but in some scenes you could still see it was there
it was starting to fry my brain lol

Its so amazing how such structures have stood the test of time, and yet our "modern" buildings can't last 100 years.

I'll try changing the blades too - as I'm still on the originals.

Can't change the dampers on the P4P, without breaking into the shell.

That might invalidate the warrenty.

Lets see what a IMU and gimbal re-cal, along with new blades does.

I'm going away to work offshore again soon, so I'll be looking forward to getting back in a few weeks and flying again.

Can't wait to film near my childhood home next year in North East Scotland.  Plenty of castles up there!
Toor has done a good job, but I'd like to put my spin on things too

     That video was too nice to have to suffer that issue.  While you aer at it, try recalibrating the Remote Controller sticks and wheel.  If the calibration is not smooth, it can cause those types of problems to.  That used to happen with one of my computer game joysticks.  We can hope.  Good effort!

Just thinking on your forum name.  Wish I could take the P4P on the vessel with me.  Sometimes we get dolphins bow-riding the vessel as we leave the harbour port.

The oil and gas industry would never allow an unlicensed drone pilot to fly near a operational vessel, let alone a semi-sub oil rig, or fixed oil platform.  Far far too many risks, fire hazards etc.

I'll try the tips you have suggested alone with those from Susan and Toor.
