The device is very chic. However, this is not the Platinum Edition! Is there also a DJI Mavic Pro Platinum White Edition? By the way, I think the great price is great. The combo version of the white edition costs only $ 1,049. The normal combo version still costs $ 1,299! WTF!

Comes with old style/noisier props though.

The combo on the original Mavic and Platinum also includes the shoulder bag, charging hub, power bank adaptor and car charger while the Alpine doesn't - that's why it costs less than the other two combo's. And no, there is not an Alpine version with FOC ESC's and winglet props - the Alpine is exactly the same as the original Mavic except for the colour. That said, the Alpine is still a great deal as in the UK the extra 2 batteries, 4 props and sleeve would set you back £192 on top of the £1,099 so there is still a saving of £142 getting this combo for £1149 than the basic package of the original Mavic with the extras bought seperately for a total of £1291 + it's looks really cool - just wished my brand new alpine white edition didn't over heat and needed to be returned to Apple. Anyway, I've got my money back and ordered the Platinum - we move on!
