Hi - I just got my Mavic and decided to try a Tilt Shift Miniature effect.

For me  the Houses worked best - the tower on its own, not so much.

I backed off on the effect a little on the tower, you're right it needs more to be in frame to work effectively

As DGRolfe asked...how was this done ? It looks awesome !

Drone footage is the best perspective for this effect.
I am a model builder myself and this is as real as it gets.
Good thing there was not too much movement.
Great saturation also!

I'll look at putting a tutorial together soon but basically you need to use a blur effect to trick the eye into thinking you are looking at something with a shallow depth if field, kinda like when you shoot with a macro lenses if that makes sense.
