Hi, I just bought 2 new pairs of propellers, the box says DJI (made in China) but they don't look as the original propellers, they are smaller and they don't have the white line at the end.
Are they fake?
It is safe to use these propellers?

the look smaller, I wouldn't chance it.. Did you get them from DJI?  I see the box

Fake, stay away if you want the MP back home.

These forgers also make fake presentation boxes too so beware.

whats the number on the prop? it might be a set for the propeller cages
8330 is the stock prop number

7728 is the number for the prop cage props

They might be the props for cages.  

It says 7728, what is that number and what does it mean "props for cages"?

So what should I do? what is the difference if I use the cage propellers (without the cage)?
Are they less durable?
Are they weaker?
Are they less stable?

The only difference are they are shorter for the cages and no they are not weaker or less durable they are just simply made shorter.

its not recommended to use the shorter props with out the cages. i would contact who ever you bought them from and see about returning them or exchange for the right ones

They are compatible without the cage. Read the specs again.

This is where the problem will begin.....

I just got a set of those, they feel fake. I’m sending mine back they will never see my Mavic. Just not worth the risk.

Compatible:  

MP

MP with cage


The issue here if they are safe to use and they they are safe to use but shorter battery time.

Similar to using old P4 batteries on P4P it will reduce flight time.

You still can fly them with or without cage. If you use the cage it will NOT increase the flight it will be same and it will reduce flight time but you still can FLY them which what the OP was asking.

I see, anyway I just asked for a changed and they offered me the platynum propellers for the same price due the error
