Hey everyone,

New to these message boards, but not new to flying.

Went and visited the MTNs this weekend and had a great time (minus losing my drone) of course.

I have opened a support case with DJI. I can provide any information needed (minus any information from the actual drone) as I do not have this anymore

Hopefully someone here is good at analyzing some data!

Thanks,

- C

**EDIT**

Will not let me post links. Not sure if this is restricted to new users or not. I have info loaded up to airdata.com and phantomhelp.com

Sorry to hear about your loss, since you have started a data analysis case, please wait for the result.

Nice flying area.  Sorry you lost  your Mavic.  Have you tried the find my drone feature in DJI Go 4?   I'm not sure If that will be any help since your data transmission was poor at best, and was lost completely at the end.  If everything was working properly, it should have initiated a RTH after the last signal loss, although you were already low on battery reserve.

I'm familiar with the area and it's not easy to traverse on foot.  Be sure you're wearing an orange vest if you venture out for a search :-)

I have had these same errors before on an iPhone flying in remote area's, never happened again once I switched to airplane mode and ditched the stock Dji side cable and started using the bottom port.

Has the side port been known to cause problems?

100% YES, it causes all sorts of disconnect issues, it really is a terribly made and poorly shielded cable.
