Hello ! I'll go to Canterbury in February 2018 and I wish bring my drone Phantom 3 standard. I've got some questions about the laws in England:

First of all, what will be necessary to pass the customs to take the ferry from Calais to Dover ?

Then, what will I gotta have to do to fly safely without problems with the laws ? Is it necessary to register the drone ?

the law in the uk is 120m or 400ft height max
500m distance max from pilot at all times
and 150m minimum from any built up area or
main road most castles you can fly round when closed but not
when open to the public unless its a derelict then fly away.
i don't know for customs? i don't think there's any special rules
hopefully someone with experience will chime in

Not had any first hand experience of customs but I know you can purchase fireproof bags for the batteries.

If you are flying professionally then you do need to register with the CAA (Civil Aviation Authority)

There is no customs issue between France and UK, we are still both in the EU, although if you stay more than 1 year then you may need your purchase receipt to take it back into France without import tax!
