I stumbled across this charging hub with built in power bank. It is not cheap but looks awesome and would be very handy for charging on the go.

I just read on another forum that this unit has set itself on fire.  Anyone also hear about this?  This thing seems almost too good to be true.

Looks like a neat piece of kit, extra €20 for the official dji portable.

Yes indeed. But there is a big difference. The DJI mobile charging hub is charging one battery after the other and thus takes 150 minutes to charge them all while the device presented here is claimed to charge them simultaniously in 40 minutes (faster than the AC charger, which makes me very suspicious!). And if it's true that there is a risk of setting itself on fire, some hesitation to buy and further research might be appropriate...

It is 800 gramms of weight.
That are 7 batteries.
(btw.: that weight thing happens also to the DJI "wireless" charger)

as long as you place more than 1 battery for charging, it is absolutely safe ...

Have you tested it yourself or can you post a link to a reliable review? Thank you!

You are right. I think the extra money is worthwhile for the batteries' safety and more stable performance. Thanks for your support.
