I am new to the Mavic and so far I have been quite frustrated with it.

It currently wont let me fly as it says i must re calibrate the IMU.... but it is just refusing to do so and comes up with an error -

IMU 1 Calibration Failed. Automatic Orientation Error. (Error Code -71)
IMU 2 Calibrating IMU (Error Code 1)

I have tried updating the firmware via the app and it kept crashing so I have downloaded the Assitant 2 software and done both the firmware update and the calibration...... and it is no different.

Any thoughts? My initial impression is not good with the Mavic at all.

I’ve seen this before you may have to do a factory reset in assistant 2.

Easily to become frustrated but try the DJI Assistant 2. Connect and retry,

Please try to reinstall the app and see if you can calibrate the IMU successfully. Please keep us updated if issue persists, the screenshot of the error code is highly appreciated.

Just bought a Mavic, havent gotten to put the propellers on yet. Did the firmware update first thing and now its this IMU data error.
tried resetting, firmware updating, restarting... with GO4 iphone app and the DJI Asistance 2 mac app.
DJI please find a fix!!
