Hi I live in Israel with max 4000m range according to the local rules.
My spark only reaches 200 meters in open field without any antennas or wifi interference, and with using an OTG cable.
From my reading the forum and web I see that my device might be locked into CE mode (I purchased it in the Netherlands)
In Israel there are no such restrictions, how do I reset them and set them to the correct ones?
Please help!

4000 metres is this right so you don’t need to be in VLOS ? I also think Israel is CE compliance, the fact you purchased in Holland won’t make any difference.
Are you using 2.4ghz or 5.8ghz. In CE max distance 5.8 ghz 300 metres 2.4ghz 500 metres.

Israel is not CE, we have our own standard but it's definitely not CE.
It's 2.4ghz and 5.8 is locked out.
Either way 200 meters is very limited they advertise 500 meters.

Were you able to "unlock" your drone? I'm facing the same issue.

And that can be the problem:
If your own standard is lower as FCC, even by only 5%, DJI will set the Drone to CE.
They only have this 2 options.
As long they not doing more as probably the "best" and the "worst" (output level) from all over the world into their products

Please note that Israel use CE certification. Did you try to fly without OTG cable? Please change a location and fly again.

How do you change location on DJI Spark? Do you change it on IOS APP profile when you login?

I think what she meant was: Try flying at a different spot, just to make sure that the issue doesn't only occur at a specific location ;)

I tried various locations, with or without OTG cable, always very poor results. $700 drone that disconnects at 200m distance is a poor product!

What is the message from your app? Did you try to change a mobile device? Please ensure that you check the channels in the wifi setting and your drone is in the channel with best signal.
