This is why I always disclose "altitude kept under 400ft" in in my video descriptions. I'm in the US.

Some of this is coming about because of the geniuses who believe that taking footage of a commercial jetliner landing is a good idea.People like that need never visit proctologist. No need. They already have their head up their asses.Gotta clean view of the colon. One bad apple spoils the whole bag.

The document you refer to is actually somewhat the opposite of what some think!
It is making it clear that ONLY when there is a safety violation - that is the endangering of the NAS - such videos could be used as evidence. Of course that's the case! If a hobbyist flew over JFK and held up 100 flights would you want the FAA to use his video against him? I would.

"The FAA released updated guidance, informing their safety inspectors that they cannot order individuals to delete drone videos from the internet."

Bigger debate on the same subject here; http://forum.dji.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=12054&extra=page%3D1&lang=en

I read it *very* carefully, and theyre not at all 'trolling YT' as claimed. In fact, you'd have to really piss them off before they'll even send you the 'education' letter.

Cheers,
Ian

If I post a video of me flying near a bridge you think they will go after me for it?
