I tend to use my drone for 3D mapping and the DJI GS Pro worked nicely to map an area for 3D imaging and with the Pix4D software.  Now that I haved switched to the Matrice 210 with Cendence remote and Crystal Sky the DJI GS Pro does not work with it, only on the iPad.  What gives?  

Does anyone have any solutions?  Will we get a solution within DJI Pilot?  Come on DJI, Crystal Sky is your own making and we can't use it with the DJI GS Pro or the DJI Pilot, the section for mapping via grids.

CrystalSky is Android OS & mission planner in Pilot is said to be coming soon. If you have a Inspire2 RC & IOS devise you can link that to the M210 to plan using GSPro & fly planned missions

The GS Pro currently does not support the Android system while the CrystalSky runs Android system. But it will be available in the near future.

Yes, that is exactly what I had to do.  But it sure defeats the purpose of having the Cendence and Crystal Sky ($1,600 worth of paper weights).

As my reply mentioned to broadlandboy, how can you ship out your own product (Crystal Sky) and not have it fully compatible with your own software?  Nothing more then a paper weight for some of us who actually use the product commercially.  Thats just unacceptable. SMH

You can donwload the Pix4D capture app on your CrystalSky. I have done it, but I did not test it yet. I'm not sure if Pix4D capture allready is compatible with M200 series (on there site they don't mention the M200 series in the list of campatible drones).
To download PIX4D capture app: go to browser, go to site apkpure.com, search for Pix4D capture, donwload the .apk file, after downloading install the .apk.

The Cendence Mobile Device Holder is now available from DJI. $29 plus $10 S&H. I used with my iPad and DJI GO4 app yesterday and it seems to work ok sofar.

Welcome! Who knows the release date of the flight planning in the DJI Pilot? What's the point of buying a drone like this cost and not be able to work normally? Propose to require from DJI for a speedy solution to this problem.

New 210 RTK owner here, HIGHLY disappointed that Mission Planner does not work yet.

UgCS is an option but the version of Pix4D capture I've seen doesn't support the 210 RTK yet.  Also, it's my understanding that DJI won't warranty their products if non DJI software is used during flight.

I couldn't Agree more with fans5d3f41d3. I was sold this product that you could run mission planning. Only after spending $30,000 on the unit was I informed that I need to buy an Ipad and holder to make this work. Lame. Now I have a $1600 paper weight too.

In general, there may be value in going with a process perhaps along the lines of “see and try before you buy”.  Fortunately, my excellent DJI dealer is nearby.  Even if not the case, the cost of a “see and try” trip may improve the chance of making a great purchase.

Go get the Inspire 2 Remote and put the Cadence and Crystal sky away or sell them or whatever, cuz right now they are expensive paper weights.  Especially if you are mapping and need flight planning ability.  PIX4D capture supports the 210 but it is very glitchy.   Link the Inspire 2 remote to the 210 and use your IOS to fly with GS Pro.   Or wait for DJI to get there shot together?  LOL  Unfortunately the Inspire 2 remotes go for around $550.

Yes, it's absolutely ridiculous that mission planning does not work from DJI for the CrystalSky/Cendence package they sell.  Especially for the amount of money us professional users are spending.  I have spoke with several people from DJI from the bottom to near top and cannot get any expected release dates.

Can I ask which function you need that doesn't work consistently? besides minor bugs requiring a restart of the app, it seems to work for us.

The XT not working isn't surprising, but hopefully they add it in future

I've read through the above posts but I'm still uncertain how I should be doing mapping with the m210.  It sounds like linking an I2 remote and ipad using  GS Pro will work?  How can I get this thing in the air for a photogrammetry flight?

I can confirm GS Pro works with the M210. I plug an iPad into the Cendence and map without any issue.

GS Pro will not work with Crystalsky but you can connect an IOS device to Cendence

I believe it only maps with one camera although I haven't tried mapping with two so can't say for certain.

I don't believe it's possible to change a M210 to M210RTK.
You'll have to sell & buy a M210 RTK
