Hi, eveyrone!

I need some help to understand how to upgrade batteries properly. I mean, I am used to upgrade Mavic and the RC together using the DJI Assistant installed on my PC, but I am not sure if this way the batteries are upgrade, even if I put all others into the aircraft.

The reason I say that is because when I last upgraded to 01.04.0000 using the DJI Assistant and after that the DJI Go App showed me a message asking to upgrade the fw again because an inconsistency was found and this message succeed until I changed all my other batteries.

By the way, the firmware 01.04.0100 says something about: "Optimized Intelligent Flight Battery firmware updating." Does it mean that the batteries needs an upgrade?

Some updates have battery updates some dont. U do not have to do anything just update thru app or assistant and the drone will do it itself....latest update 4.100 didn't update batteries

Just upgrade your mavic (or another drone) as usual, then start your DJI Go4 app. If a battery upgrade is needed you will get a notification on your screen. Follow the steps and done.

The battery update is the easiest of all updates.

After the actual FW update with a battery, just take the other remaining batteries, install and just turn on and AC/RC if it has that 'inconsistent' message pops up, just update the battery.

I have 4 batteries I did exactly what I'd described above and it only requested on one battery that 'inconsistent' message.

All is 100% now. Just thought to share what I did.

Thanks for the replies above, refer to 3# and update again. Also, change the battery and refresh the firmware via DJI Assistant 2 also works.

If you use the DJI Go app to upgrade the batteries does it take the same time as a regular firmware update?
I understand using DJI Assistant firmware refresh would........
