I have an X5S and Oly zuikos.....For high quality online content delivery, is there any advantage of going for the ProRes license key and obscenely priced SSD's?  It's close to a $2K investment. Facebooks video moire-on-crack codec destroys just about everything, but I will go the Vimeo and YT route. I fly halfway around the world to epic nature spots to aerial film.  Perhaps thinking stock footage and Holllywood would ever come calling, but who knows.

Easy, if you need it, buy it.
If it will make you money then buy it.
If you don't have a need for it now and don't have a customer asking for it then don't buy it.

In postproductional work flow, to have uncompressed footage makes a huge difference.
