OSMO Plus issue after firmware upgrade

Hello,

I just purchase a new OSMO plus yesterday. activated the device and it worked fine. It prompt that new firmware upgrade was available I upgraded the firmware to the latest which is 1.6.1.0 firmware upgraded successful. Now when I turn the device when I take pictures is blurry same with the video and also when I press the trigger and joy stick it won't zoom in.. I just had this device for 24hrs and this is the problem that I've got

this is the same instruction that was included the firmware upgrade zip file. yes I followed that after the upgrade. Pictures are not crisp/sharp even in closed range. Infinity focus blurry. I haven't try the video recording but I will in few days.

Yes, the current firmware is v1.6.1.00, you can try to flash the firmware, here is the tutorial video for your reference:

for the 4K video quality its good, I will try again next time for 1080P video and see the difference but for the meantime my concerns is the photo quality of the OSMO Plus is not good, i'm not satisfied on this camera unless you make some new firmware updates to fix this issue.

1080P video in which it shows the quality is not good.

As you can see from my photos most of it are blurry specially if i'm on selfie mode. My $50 dollar actions camera that I purchase in amazon works great on 4k; 1080P and all pictures compare to this 600$ camera of your all my shots are out of focus even if I press the green box to focus or in infinity focus.  I ended up using my phone instead of your product. This OSMO plus works great only on 4K but the rest not good. Or maybe i've got a defective unit.

Is auto focus and manual focus working correctly  or not, when it didn't zoom in? If auto focus could work , please do auto focus once right before you take a picture. Let us know the result.

Hope this answers your question, there is no difference in auto and manual focus when zoom in, but in selfie mode there is some problem with auto focus features.

Well thank god, I thought for a moment that maybe my eyes were going bad.... but yeah this 500 dollar camera looks worse than my 300 dollar smartphone. What gives?

I am seriously thinking about taking it back and just going the stabilizer / DSLR route. Hell after the mess I have had with the Mavic and an android tablet.... it may be going back too.

Hello DJI Mindy, Do you wan't me to send this for repair? this is just 1 month old and besides I can't send it for repair for so many reason. First I work in cruise ship and we travel a lot. Sending this for repair I won't even know where to send it if I had to. Plus i'm going home to my country by February and I don't know which ships I will be assign for my next contract. So repair option is not possible unless that ships that i'm assign to will be sailing US port.

True, my $50 dollar action camera that I Purchase in Amazon work great and takes sharp photos compared to this $600 dollar that I purchase here in dubai. This camera sucks...

It's too late for me to bring it in Dubai repair center becuase our ships will now leave the middle east and going to Asia, most of our asia port will be for 1 day visist only so no time to bring it to any repair center in asia. Do you have any certified repair center in the philippines since i'm going home next month.
