Hi

I am about to install the Beta 600.

What version of the RC firmware should it be paired with ?

And is there a changelog or release guide for the beta - nice to have an idea of the changes - or is it simply a 'bug fix' release for the poor latest firmware update

V1.9.3 is the latest prod release of firmware for the controller
There is no release note for the beta 2.00.0600. It apparently fixes the camera reset when recording 4K video and the erratic flying. No other changes have been advised.

I have tried upgrading to 600 via the Assistant. My AC is on 106 currently.

Assistant shows 600 beta and I click upgrade and it downloads the firmware to 100% then tries to transmit and at 0% it failed - I have sent the error log to DJI via the assistant.

I have tried restarting everything and still no good.

Any ideas ???

Hi. Yeah, sadly the "Transmitting..." issue has bitten a number of us now. I suspect there was a driver change released as part of the Windows 10 Creators update which broke the uplink connection. DJI are looking into it, hence why DJI  Susan is after the logs.

Otherwise, you can still do the upgrade via the DJI GO app on your smartdevice.

I have the same problem that (vantage air) has!
I can not do anything in DJI Assistant 2!
maybe the Punch Buggy is right and the problem is on the windows drives!
is there any solution?

No. You can update the craft via  the DJI GO 4 app too. But I prefer to use Assistant 2 - when it works - as my PC has a wired internet connection, and I'd like to take potential wifi latency issues out of the loop if I can.

Do you mean that you still don't have access to it?  If that's it, then run Assistant 2, log out of your DJI acccount and log back in. If the firmware still doesn't appear at the top of the firmware list (after craft has been connected and is detected), then click on the button at top right of the firmware list which should refresh the list.

If STILL not appearing, then the engineers haven't enabled your account to have access.

4months ago i have strong signal in my phantom4 and going 5kmh and now i have only 400meters. wtf is going on with the signal ?? i have downgrade to older version but the problem remains. i think with this new updates we have taken a hardware failure. i dont know im very disappointed. i have try olders versions of firmware  and the problem remains. maybe we have a hardware failure because of this crazy updates. failure updates.??? sory for my english.  my signal is very poor

I suggest you refresh the firmware again. When I first  applied the beta firmware to my P4, it flew as bad as ever. I reset the craft to factory defaults and refreshed the firmware. It then flew fine. From then I've always installed firmware on both of my Phantoms Twice, with a factory reset in between.

Hi Diana, Can I please receive the Beta 02.00.0600 (modify) firmware. I too am having all sorts of issues with my P4. The biggest issue is the "No image transmission signal" warning when everything is connected . I have tried multiple devices (ipad air 2 and iphone 6 plus, refreshed firmware many times using the dji assistant 2 all with failure at 55%. I am new to the P4 so you will need to treat me as a newbie when asking for info etc. I also have a P3P which has similar problems but I am more interested in getting the P4 fixed first.

Hi Rob, this beta firmware can't fix the 'No Image Transmission Signal' issue. Could you please provide me with more details about this issue? I'll help you to troubleshoot it.
1. When did this issue start? Did anything happen before, like hard landing or crash?
2. Can you use the RC to control the drone?
3. What is the status of the gimbal light?
Please take the SD card out, then restart the drone, see if it works.

Hi Diana,

I did not used my P4 for a while and after turning-on, it proposed the v02.00.0106 update which I did through DJI Assistant 2 (100% sucessfull).
I could complete sucessfully but no update for the RC was proposed.

Now, when I turn on both devices, the RC keep blinking red/green and the video display on my iPhone 6 and 7+ (latest Go App 4.0), is incorrect either black or green or partial video.
I did not try to fly.

So maybe the RC does not have the right firmware update (v1.9.2.0 or v1.9.3.0) but I don't know how to get it done as it is not propose to me.

This is the process I used to update the RC to V1.9.3:-

With RC and display connected (aircraft off), and display has a good wifi connection to internet. Run DJI Go 4 and 'enter device'. Open the 'aircraft status' screen by tapping the screen at top edge where it says 'disconnected'. The top line 'Overall Status' should show if update required (this may take a minute or two to appear). When it does then tap on that and it should take you through the process to update RC. This should work, but if not then repeat above as needed.

Hi, my assisstant 2 does not work at all. It does not show the old firmwares so I have to upgrade or downgrade through the DJI Go app.

This I noticed because I am struggling to install the beat firmware. I did initially upgraded, but I still had issues. So now I want to set the phantom 4 to factory defaults to install the beat again.

Any help?

Please send beta firmware to me. I have the Phantom 4 with the 4K 30 FPS problem.  After a few minutes of recording, the camera goes crazy and switches to camera mode. Otherwise, after completing recommended procedures, flight characteristics are stable.

Ludo, please try to reset the remote controller.
* Turn on the controller, and make sure the aircraft is off.
* Press C1, C2, and shutter on the controller and then turn the controller off.
* Turn on both the aircraft and the controller and link the remote.

If that does not work, try to force the controller to update:
* Turn on the controller, and make the aircraft is off.
* Press C1, C2, record and the wheel on the right side of the controller and then turn off the controller.
* Don’t let go of any of the buttons, turn on the controller. Then the controller will be able to update again.
