That was great, were you flying in sports mode to keep up ?

I flew in Normal mode .. it was a pain to keep up with him .

Oh man that was my sport of choice. Great flying and following the kite boarder. I had the father inlaw follow us on a jetski with his Mavic and he was flying in sport mode. The possibilities are endless.

Its an awesome sport to film !! I’ve never seen it in person until we can here ( I grew up in southern GA lol )
I’m impressed how easy these guys make it look .... I just wish my spark could keep up a little better lol

The film is very cool. I have a question, when you were flying over water, did you have sensors in Spark? I heard that the sensors could be crazy when flying over water.

Thanks ! I’m glad you like the vid ..I turn off the avoidance , because the waves may cause the drone to think it’s lower or higher as the waves move ( when hovering ) .I never had a problem flying over water so far it’s been smooth flying ✈️

Glad you enjoyed the vid .. No tracking mode . I’ve only used tracking once since I bought my spark , and it hit a tree when I tried tracking my car

Nice manual tracking.  Good music choice to cut to.  I don't think my Spark is that fast in normal mode.  Maybe the wave's motion makes it looks like he is traveling faster.

Not particular about this video, but every video I see from a Spark, has it over water.  Water always involved.  Like the 80's TV show Miami Vice always shoot a bad guy and he would manage to fall into water as he died (pool, swamp, harbor).  It's a constant theme.  Maybe DJI should have made the Spark out of rescue orange floating foam material.

It’s not sped up I promise .. the spark is such a capable drone .. some are just afraid to really put it to the test  because of its size .. I’ve once had it up to 36 MPH In sport mode ( no mods - stock spark )

badass!, i also kite sail, out of my vacation home in Corolla NC.  Im on the bay and cannot wait to launch my p4p off my dock!  I also plan on spotting and observing duck blinds to see what is needed to take with if one gets hammered by a storm.
