So I suffered a crash into a tree, fell maybe 25 feet.  I stopped the motors as soon as possible.  Impact damage seemed minimal.  The battery was slightly dislodged from A/C when I got to it.  The battery lights were still on as if it was still plugged into the A/C.  I plugged the battery back in and turned it on.  Then turned it off and it took about 10 seconds longer to shut down.  I turned it on again later to see if it was still operational and the A/C wouldn't connect with the remote.  I tried a few things with no luck and went to turn it one.  This is when I noticed the red light on the battery blink multiple times.  The green lights turned off as usual.  I thought maybe a battery issue? But I tried the my other battery that wasn't involved in the crash and the same thing happened.  I can't find anything out there on this problem.  Any help will be appreciated!

Sounds like maybe the contacts were damaged in the crash.

I looked at the battery contacts and everything appears to be ok.  Nothing bent or dislodged.  All wires are intact as well.  I forgot to mention in the whole post that the A/C will not connect with remote.

Oh, I thought you meant both batteries were not working.   Is your video feed working?

No.  A/C will turn on.  Lights and gimbal operate normally.  When i go to connect my phone to the remote, it shows the A/C as disconnected.

First check the pin connector at top of gimbal.  May have knocked it loose.  unplug, then replug.  Check flat ribbon cable too.

All pin connectors are connected. I unplugged and replugged. No luck.  I even found a video on YouTube on how to reconnect the controller manually.  (Press C1, C2, and record until it beeps. The press in the right knob that controls camera exposure.  Then there’s a button on the sensor base to push).  That didn’t work either. Frustration is setting in

How long should I expect it to be gone?

No one can answer that. Depends on what has to be repaired. and when they can get to it.

Did you check the ribbon cable?

Is this the flat black ribbon all twisted around the gimbal? Is so yes. It didn’t appear to be dislodged anywhere from what I could tell.

yes, it goes from top of gimbal all the way to the camera,  In a crash, it can be dented just a little and this can be causing your problem.
