I saw this morning that dji go 4.1.18 for android has updated?
release date 28 nov.
Could you confirm that they fixed the videolag for android (samsung) phones?

Its updated again today, some report that the video problem is solved. Try and let us know, also your device type please

yes! last update 29/11/2017. no lag video ,no lag app (4.1.18 for android) All problems fixed! flight safe!

yay! if this fixed the issues then good job DJI. Least they fixed the issue right away.

Tested it on Samsung J5 which did not work before but all working now. Tested to record video to cache  on phone ( no SD card Mavic)  no video lag so much better than old 4.1.18

Tested on Samsung S5 and it works all ok also

Hi Jos A, the transmission issue for Android device should be now fixed, so please kindly refresh the app and try again. See if it helps.

Works great now on Samsung A5(2017) (video lag)Pano horizontal makes 17 pictures instead of 3.

Tried the latest update this morning on a Xperia. Video transmission worked, but mid flight the app reset the height/distance limits to 30/50m, bit I was more than 10 times higher at the time, then a complete disconnect in the app and the controller also lost connection to the Mavic.  No height/distance information. I pressed the RTH button, but no reaction. After a few seconds connection on the controller came back, I could initiate RTH, but then connection was lost again.  When the drone was less than 50m away I got control again. Started Litchi and landed it.

DJI, now it's getting dangerous! Since the upgrade to FW 14 your product got worse with every upgrade, before it was a joy to use!   My Mavic is up for sale now!!!

The Spark has also issues in height etc

The last update didn't fix video transmission issue. Why when you update everything seems ok but in real conditions it s not? I tested on a table, video ok, no disconection during around 15 min. As soon as I take off mavic is just disconnected after 30sec and impossible to get the video back. Just not useable with .18
If I roll back to.9' everything is just perfect again
