Update killed my battery

After trying the most recent update, I recieved multiple failures and then a battery error. The battery that was attached to the Mavic during the failed upgrade process showed only two green light in the middle and now when pliugged into the charger shows a red light in the corner and won't charge.
Is there a way to recover the battery or is it gone forever?

It is the battery that came with the Mavic. I've used it for as long as I've had the drone and all has been fine until this most recent update.

The battery will be charged again. Try even if the leds don't show. Once it has it's time of full charging remove it from the charger and leave for a while then check it.

I’ve allowed it to run down to 0 and tried to charge it. Sadly, no good.

When I had the assistant 2 running and making sure I had the latest firmware I had it hooked up to my Mavic. The Mavic was fine. Then I would put on each battery, two out of the three batteries I had the assistant software told me the battery needed updated modules and re-flashed itself. Just 2 out of the 3 batteries I had. After that I went for a full charge on all 3 and the charging cycles just ended. Controller, iPad and batteries all charged up ready to go!

Can't help with your battery problem, but my parents live in Folkestone... Thought I recognized it!

I've currently got mine hooked up to the assistant 2 and am updating it that way. Hopefully it won't hang up this time!

Sometimes a fix can be as easy as an update or even uninstalling and reinstalling the app. I've done the same with some glitches.

Also just an fyi, whenever you update the FW on the MP with another battery you may get an "inconsistent firmware' notice. Not a problem; you just need to swipe the button (on device) to update.

Hi there, when did you purchase this fly more combo?  I would recommend you contact the Support to start a case if the battery is still in warranty period.  The warranty period of the battery is 6 Months and Charge Cycle less than 200 Times. BTW, nice shots.

I have already experimented a two midlle green light on the battery after upgrade of the Mavic.

It was an upgrade failure of the battery.
