Any word on if DJI is going to make a 3 bladed fixed prop for the Spark? I see that it is something that they currently do (motor and prop package) for the drone racing industry...

Not only looks great, but the more blades the better the stability and noise reduction. Skeptical that the aircraft couldn't candle 3 or 4 bladed props. The only issue would be power and the Spark seems to have plenty of it...

Not looking to install snail (esc's and props), just want D to design a QR 3 blade prop for the Spark. Anything in the works?

The more leaves you add, the lesser the effect will be the propeller. The flight time is shorter.

Not too worried about efficiency or power, more interested in performance and the effectiveness of reducing noise. Know that battery life will be reduced by a small percentage, but motors on the Spark are powerful enough to handle and additional blade. Being a member of the military and having worked around the rotary wing industry, there is a good reason that aircraft went from two blade to three / four blade prop systems, not to mention the quad racing industry. I appreciate the input and the reply!

If I can judge from my own experience of racing quad so I also switched to three-leaf propeller. It is true that the control is more sensitive and precise, but the quad noise was not reduced. Rather, the frequency of noise has shifted and produces higher frequency and loud noise. It is also true that KV has increased and engine power too. Of course, it also has an impact on noise levels.

I would say that you are right about the noise possibly being attributed to increased motor KV. Thanks for the reply

dont think DJI have any interest in doing a fixed prop for the Spark. Mabye a prop  company will do it
