First test footage of DJI's Zenmuse X7 camera in 5k using a 50mm lens. The location is Vinci, in Tuscany, the birthplace of Leonardo da Vinci. The time was around 4pm and it just stopped raining. Temperature was around 4 degrees Celsius. Footage has been slightly color corrected with Red Giant's filters.

Magenta tint lingering still?  

Three generations of cameras and this still exists, and for a proposed pro-quality camera too?

DJI really needs to ADD A TINT CONTROL for manual white balance like other camera makers have.  So far, they've completely ignored the a*-axis for the green/magenta tint in the CIE L*a*b* (CIELAB) color settings and just allowing one to set the b*-axis.

These are color corrected. It might be me, but not being a professional, it's hard for me to say

These are the two filters I use to correct the magenta tint on their cameras in manual white balance.  Lee Filters sells them for the Hollywood camera guys at Samy's Camera, but you have to cut them out to fit the empty filter holders.  I've also bought them off eBay as "Kodak Wratten Gelatin Filters" that I can put behind the Breakthrough ND filters sans a filter mount.

Your colour correction is great! Where I'm seeing it is where I'm always seeing it. Look at the colour of the tilled ground around the 30 second mark. That's the best example of it but it's in all the colours who's brightness land in that part of the greyscale for some reason. That's where I've seen it most strongly.

It's a matter of both adding a tint control and I think dji could help a lot by brushing up on their colour science that the cameras use.

I'm no expert in colour it must be said, but now that I've noticed it I see it in all the photos and video taken with the dji cameras.

I'd be fairly confident that it's the cameras colour science is the problem too because I don't know of anyone who decides to grade landscape videos or photos magenta.

Elektrica, when the X7 is on, can you feel any vibration on the lower camera mounting plate beneath the rubber gimbal mounts by the avoidance cameras, compared to the top one which is rock steady on mine?

My X4S doesn't vibrate as much as the X5S when I put my finger on the lower plate and was wondering how the X7 feels there?  My X5S seems awfully buzzy in the gimbal motors and I thought it would have less vibration being heavier than the X4S.
