I have previously only done low level 360 pano's Today I shot this one at 100m. Really happy with the outcome. Stitched in Lightroom, planet made in Photoshop.

Hope you like it.

Nice shot, what did you use for stitching? In the center of the picture there is like a hole trying to absorb the city ;-)

I use Photoshop to merge the little planet. For some reason when it stitches in Lightroom, the stitch misses the direct down shot. When it goes into photoshop to make the planet, it gives that weird pinched effect.

yep, I think it can be a good idea, to do an extra -85° 3x3 Pano. Or 2, 90° turned

I've been reading up on it. Both PS and LR don't have the right algorithm to merge 360 pano's yet. So I'm looking for another decent free program that works on the MAC. Obviously Microsoft ICE is out of the question

Just giving this a go currently https://helpx.adobe.com/photosho ... ges-photomerge.html

Be interesting to see what results it gives.

What I don't get within Lightroom is, all the shots are there including the straight down shot. but when it stitches, that goes missing.

So I think I have the answer for hi-res little planets on MAC. I used the Dji Media Maker to Merge into the 360 pano, Then import this into Photoshop, edit colours, exposure etc, then create the planet. It gets a perfect join, no distortion or parts missing. This I took today 114m up in the air. The sky was a bit rubbish though, hence the trails.

Glad you like it, Lightroom has been bothering me, as it crops a lot of the image. Media Maker takes approx 5 mins to stitch and Photoshop takes 30 seconds to make the planet.

I see...that's a pity when you want a perfect outcome...but in this case it looks cool.

Yes, its a bit annoying. Maybe it's something Adobe will rectify, as 360 images seem to be getting more popular.
