I am about to upgrade from a P3 Pro to a P4 Pro. My iPad mini 3 seems to do fine with the P3P. Every now and then I get a CPU overload but I think it affects my flight. I don't run anything else on the iPad. Anyway, does anybody here fly their P4 Pro with the iPad mini 3? I already have to cough up some good coin to upgrade to a P4 and don't want to spend another $350+ on a new or refurbed iPad.
Hey Joe, the CPU overload message may pop up when the CPU of the mobile fully loaded. Please make sure there is enough space and run DJI GO 4 only to check whether it helps.

Hi, I got CPU overload on my iPhone 6 Plus after a reboot, and I before starting propellers. How come?

Always updated. I accept all recommendations by DJI. This happened constantly about 20 days ago, since then I have not flown.
Sir, is there any difference of refering my suggestion in 2#? If not, please post a screenshot of the warning message and About page, we'd like to check the exact status.

Seems like I got the CPU overload message a year or so ago after a firmware update. I use the iPad Mini 3 ONLY for the drone. I don't have any other apps running or downloaded.
You will need 6s or above to run Go 4. The performance of iPad mini 3 or i6 is not enough. Also turn off video cache. This can help reducing cpu load. I currently use i6s+ with no problem. But my Go 4 is still 4.0.8 and 4.1.13 which you may not be able to get them.
