No on a sanding unit. The salt gets all over the bed and rots the truck out. Use to have a friend do it but he has passed. Snow I don't mind. Ice I do. To old to fall down, don't get back up like I use to.

In Edmontn Alberta, we are trying a new product for our roads, that doesn't contain any salt.
It's spread on the roadways before the snow falls, and melts it, without corrosive properties on our vehicles.  So far, it seems to be doing a great job.

Yes, when conditions are just right, the trees get that awesome frost that turns them all white.

It can appear rather spooky at times...

The salt does a number on Asphalt. We use it here in Rhode Island and we literally have the worst roads in the US. Head north into VT and NH where they do not use Salt and the roads are perfect.

From Vancouver B.C. Recorded in Jan. 2017, with a Phantom 3 Standard, surprise!!.

It has certainly caused a stir, of pleasant reactions. I like to see that.
