I found several articles on the Internet claiming that DJI drones are spying on us for the Chinese government.

Probably Apple, CISCO, Google, Huawei, Microsoft, Qualcomm, etc. are also spying on us...

MAybe that's why dji drones get cheaper each year so they have more people to spy on

Spying on what exactly? - some cows and farm fields or may be a golf course if you're really daring. I think the Chinese government has more important things to do like manage a $20trillion economy and a billion citizens. I'm sure the images they already have from space are slightly more sophisticated than a Mavic.  

It's mostly data mining, and mostly all DJI users aggregated - except for a few of you who have something to hide. You can download wireshark and follow the white rabbit if you want to be certain.

The question is what is worse ?
Americans spying on me or the Chinese ?

Yes, they are but only if you give them access. Already if you stay offline while flying makes a huge difference. And there are ways to block the data mining that they are doing if you feel concerned.

DJI does not send data on DJI cloud servers to the Chinese government. Nor does it allow access to such data by the Chinese government. Thank you again for your support.
