Recommendations? I tried two different Pgytech skins; the first didn't stick at all and the second bubbled at the cut seams. I am super meticulous and followed the install video to the tee. Perhaps I am too meticulous and my OCD has me expecting more than can be delivered, but the Pgytech are mediocre at best.

Has anyone had any better experience with different brands? Or has anyone heard of complete body replacements, perhaps lighter ones? I am not a flashy guy, so I don't want a lot of color (or any color) and not crazy about white. Would like to see something fairly subdued (matte black, gray, etc).

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Just had a look at the site. The custom option look great. Not sure if they will ship to the UK though.

Would there be any issues with applying Plasti-Dip to the Spark body?  Plasti-Dip is a spray on rubber coating that can be used to color items.  A lot of people use it to color wheels, grills, trim, and emblems on cars.  Are there areas of the body that need to be avoided due to balance or sensors or other issues?

I do know that it dries very thick, have used it on tools. Would likely add significant weight and also might not help with cooling. I will say that Hydo-Dip would probably work well....

The thickness / weight is why I was concerned that maybe there could be balance issues.  Gonna use Plasti Dip on some of my car trim soon and thought I could use some of what's left to color match my drone to my car.  Guess I'll take a stronger look at skins.

I'll be honest with you (always am), when you mentioned Plasti-Dip, my brain went direct to the Hydro-Dip. Hydro-Dip is super thin and very durable. May be an option that you look in to, know that I will be!

Extremely pleased with decalgirl.com.  Hundreds of choices ( and 25% discount pricing for holidays ).  They even have a customization option for adding your FAA registration, reward info, etc.

Keep hearing about it, 100% good. Suppose I will give it a try before investing in a Hydro-Dip kit...

I just placed an order with decalgirl.com.  The customization tool was a pleasant surprise.  I was able to put together the concept I had in mind.  I'll post pictures when I get and apply the skins.

Nice! Really don't know much about the material. Would say that you can't go wrong with 3M products, they seem to have the niche for that sort of thing...

I checked those out on eBay, even wrote the sellers. They are not original DJI parts, but guess that really doesn't matter as long as they fit. Going to probably cerakote them anyway...

ive seen these floating around here and there online... considered myself getting another and having it painted by a local painter that does some cool work.  Would be a permanent and solid $30 invested but I believe it would be worth it

Dont paint it... Too permanant.... Decal Girl skins. Cheap, work as advertised and you can change the skin should you grow tired of the design... I had my FAA # and cell phone # added on the side of all my battery skins.

Skins are stupid.  They look cheap and remind me of decals taht used to come for your super nintendo controller.  If you want to reduce the resale value of your drone and make it look worse, go for it.

"Resale value"... like it's a used Civic or something... LOL.  It's a toy.

i dont know if it would be too permanent for me.  I dont change my mind alot on my helis, I usually get a design i want and roll with it.  I dont like that skins peel and have edges that dont meet up well
