I'm going to purchase a CrystalSky monitor for my Osmo+.  I need some feedback on the 5.5-inch vs: 7.85-inch displays.  Woudl the 7.85-inch display be too lareg and cumbersome to use on an Osmo?  Opinions?

Thanks!

Hi, sir. I think you don't need to attach osmo + on the crystal sky. So it won't be too large to use 7.85-inch CrystalSky with Osmo. Thanks for your attention.

Thank you for your feedback

The 7.85 is a large bulky device compared to the OSMO+ handle.  Even if you managed to get it into a custom holder I can't see holding this too long.

Hi,
I have just taken my osmo plus and 5" CS to Antartica, Halley6, and although the screen allows me to see with bright sun in the snow it soon becomes very heavy to walk around with. I use the dji  tripod to give me some extra support, plus I use the focus wheel, so this camera becomes very bulky. I would of bought the 7" if it were in stock at the time for other craft as well but the 7" would of just been too much for my Osmo setup weight wise. great kit though.

My solution to it is Samsung note 8. Its brightness is 1240 nits with screen size 6.2". it is of course comparatively lighter than CS.

CS provides option of exchangeable battery pack. Same can be achieved with a battery pack if you need long battery time. I use my 20k mah battery pack.

I'm getting over 5 hours out of a single charge on my Crystal Sky and I'm delighted with that....

I just watched a documentary , I think "Impossible Engineering" or something like that about Halley6. Very impressive facility. So cool how it can raise up so they can pack snow under feet so it doesn't get buried. Would love to see some footage from up there shot on the osmo. Do you have it posted anywhere?
