Hi all,
I am new, during my last flight with my new Mavic, I have received on my DJI GO 4 a "Strong Interference Detected" message before taking off, RC status icon on the screen had no signal but on the controller screen, the RC icon has full signal. Any idea?

Using SAMSUNG Galaxy TabA, Android 7.1.1
DJI firmware updated to last version

Hi sir, did you place the drone where there are metals around before the flight?  If this message pops up on the app, please try to move the drone to another place, avoid the magnetic interference, calibrate the compass and try again. See if it helps.

Eric, it would be great if you could move the drone and keep it away from the metals, high tension lines, transformer station etc., keep away from the source of compass interference.

I think he may be trying to see if it is repeatable, and then try another location. That would "eliminate" an issue with the AC, and confirm it may be the environment.

I think it is important to understand the difference between things that might affect compass, like proximity to metal objects,
and Radio Frequency interference.

Drones operate on WW shared frequencies that are shared by Many, Many, Many things in the "ISM Band",
and especially around 2.4Ghz Band many things can cause interference, especially in/near to towns/cities.

I think I have found the origin of the issue. It seems that it is the telemetry from a FrSky Horus controller from a another member of the club.
I will double check tomorrow morning and report.

The problem is not from compass, from Horus or any other interference. The problem is that DJI Go4 (v4.1.18) in my Samsung Galaxy Tab A is not working properly (Android 7.1.1)
The indicators on the screen of DJI Go4 are not indicating the same than the screen of the RC controller. I had several Warnings of aircraft disconected, vision lost, frozen screen, but I had no control issues.
Then I use my iPhone 6+ (iOS 11.2 + v4.1.18) everything perfect.

If you look at the back of the box the drone came in it states that the app is designed for apple products. Whilst android is compatible IOS performs far more effectively with GO 4.

Confirmed, 3 batteries this morning with my iPhone, absolutly fantastic, no warnings, no issues, the only thing, be carreful and check iPhone battery between each flight.
