The time has come to retire my belowed Phantom 3 Pro.

Today it is exactly two year since I got air under my wings and what a blast it has been.
Over the years This magnificent flying machine have been with me and my dog Loki some fantastic journeys around Denmark. It has given me the honor of Winning amazing prices and being publised in some of the worlds greatest photography and creative magazines and journals.

The following images are from the very beginning and untill today.

I quickly realized that capturing great drone content, required a lot of planning.
So a few weeks later with a little planning, I captured the Winning image of the "2016 International Drone Photography Contest" plus a few others. Obviously I didn't know that I had a winning image yeat but I loved these images so much and I found a style that defined almost any image i captured with the drone from here on.

In 2017 I decided to go pro, trying to make a living with this fantastic piece of equipment, so after passing the test and getting licenced.  I launched my company up and have delivered many flawless images and happy clients in the past year.
I didnt fly as much for fun and personal use but I did get a few trips with my dog Loki, over the years he learned that the drone bag makes a excellent bed when I fly :-)

As you hopefully can see in the above images I have had so many great hours with the Phantom 3 Pro, but the time have come to upgrade the camera system.  Many friends have argued that I should go for the inspire 2 and X7 but in my work portability is key, and I have decided to go for the Phantom 4 Pro because of it's camera sensor and size, and I can't wait to get my hands on one.

I wanna thank you for looking through the image series I really hope you enjoyed them, and finally a huge THANK you to DJI for making aerial photography accessible for everyone, this new perspective truly changed everything for me.

The images have an HDR look about them superb as images and eye catching but a little oversaturated to my taste and not quite real.

Lovely shots. I would love to replace my P3P with a P4P, but it is hard to justify when the P3 is flying perfectly well and taking good photos.

I think they gave Dockater a flag just to confuse him seeing he was 1st to note loss of points.
Now m-bernholdt that's some serious results you have produced. Looking forwards to seeing what you do with the P4P.

Really lovely pictures you have captured.
My favorite here is the "Tree in a pond", a first glance it is looking like a enlightened tree standing in the dark.

I totally agree.  The damned thing just won't die .

Aloha Michael,

     I will never let my P3 Pro go the way of the dinosaur.  You should always have a back-up and there is no better back-up than a P3 Pro.  You have proven the quality of that wonderful bird.  But as you note the P4 Pro, which I also have, is much more capable.  I agree with your choice, but keep your back-up.

It was not a criticism of your work but more a comment on the current trend to go for vivid images that seems widespread, there was a similar trend in general landscape photography a few years back when HDR became very popular and somewhat overused.
But great images and work, I will look out for more.

Excellent images sir, and a testament to your skills. I think it also illustrates very well that great images need planning and an understanding of light and how to use it. Clearly you have that. I am an ex pro photographer and I have seen many good images, yours rank amon the best. long may it continue for you.

Yes, i tend to agree that HDR "addiction" was plaguing landscape photography some time ago. Luckily this trend seems to slowly fade away as any other over-used and explored to death. Now - at least in this community - "tiny planet" trick seems to be another fad to go, thanks to a panorama button introduced in DJI Go app.

Which had absolutely nothing to do with apparent talent of Michael Rasmussen!
