Hi all,
I have a spare controller which is left over from my P3P which was lost over a year ago. It's been many months, but I have used that controller with my P4 several times and it worked just fine. I recently bought a high gain panel antenna setup for my P4. I installed that modification on my P4 controller. The idea is that I will have the option of using the P4 controller with the High gain setup in some situations and still have the option of using my old unmodified P3P controller in other situations where I don't need that much range. So I decided to make sure my old P3P controller was up to date on firmware. When I updated the controler, it said it was upgrading to 1.9.3, but after the update appeared to complete successfully, when I checked the firmware version in DJI GO 4 it indicated that it was on 1.9.2. I tried again and got the same result. It did indeed upgrade, but only to 1.9.2 not 1.9.3. So there must be some subtle difference between the two controllers, but I am wondering if there is any significant difference between these two firmware versions and if I can reliably use my P3P remote with my P4 on version 1.9.2. Any info is appreciated.
