Took a nice holiday vacation to St. Lucia over the Thanksgiving weekend.   Went to other places on the island but was never able to get the Mavic  Pro up due to rain.  Was only able to get flying and video's &  pic's at our resort.  Enjoy

You are correct.  The days we went off of our resort, it rained.  When the sun did come out or it stopped raining...I tried to get the MP out to fly...then it would start to rain again.  UGH!!  I would have had so much more.
I did the editing on the plane ride home, so, in a sense, yes, I had time on my hands.  LOL

Yep, I would totally go back myself.  Would LOVE to get footage of the Pitons.

Yes, it was an awesome place.  Weather was awesome...except when we went other places...then it rained and I could not get any footage.

I was checking around and I did not see anything on a few of my apps I looked into.  It is getting a little hard to get info on were we can/can't fly it seems like, but all ways actively checking.  Thanks for the info, next time I go, I'll look into it harder.

I’m sure guests staying at Jade Mountain can fly where they like LOL - shame a top suite is US$40,000 for two weeks!

My honeymoon was here as well back in September 1986.  This brings back good memories.  Things like Mavics were science fiction back then. Thanks.

That they do! Every beach is impeccable - they employ staff who sole duty is to ensure the beach is raked! The locals are beautiful people too - so kind - even when walking the streets away from the resorts.

Beautiful footage!    I have been to St. Lucia 4 times and it always amazes me.
