Was in Tripod mode in this video. I wasn't using any ND Filters on my spark (forgot them at home) and I'm almost positve I was in a manual exposure mode here. Any idea on why I'm getting the light/dark shifts in my video? Happening around 47 seconds as it's passing the trees on the left.

Shadow from the sunlight hitting the tree branches.
Get a lens hood if you want to avoid them.
There are plenty online, have not tested any
Was thinking it could have been that, but it seemed to try and compensate for the background as well in the video. I think it's on a few other videos too. . .where there are no branches to cause the same effect.

In this case I am sure it is shadow.
Spark has a very bad way of handeling light coming from that direction (coming from one of the corners).
I have also seen props cause similar effect.

I really wish I had my ND filters with me. Going to see if I can get another flight in this week to see if I get the same kind of effect.

If they are from Polar Pro, they might reduce the flare a bit.
So the effect will be less.
Others I don't know about.
But best way still is to buy a lens hood. They are very cheap and make a lot of difference in some situations.

I think they are from polar pro. My Spark ones at least. I'll definitely look into a lens hood.
