Okay I just got a new ipad pro that replaces my ipad mini 4 which I did to help solve my video issues. at the current moment I rolled back the fw to 1.6 and it was succefull and the reason that I rolled it back was that on the RC it was showing AC fw 1.11 and on the SD card I had 1.10, now I can't get the RC to update back to 1.7 it keeps failing? You are already updated to version 1.11 according to the log, at one time you tries to load version 1.8 and that won't work .  ( you can only rollback one version of the IN ORDER FW SO ONLY BACK OT 1.10 )  You are up to date my friend . also version 000748 on the top log indicates success  for the latest version of FW

Look at the second batch. of logs, the 9th one down says 'Success "  so no many times you try to reload that version it will say abort, and the 1.8 wont ever .oad because you can only rollback one version of FW.

Now you need to concentrate on getting the RC back to verion 1.7.8.  Deletet the go app and start over, make sure you have the correct go app for the Inspire aqnd dont have the wrong one installed .  also be sure to use a wi fi siganl that is STRONG to the Go app device and be sure the AC is off during the process.  You may want to use the old go app device to get to 1.7.8.

Read my tips page agian and study it.  Also like the AC mistake where you think you are not up to date could this be the same case with the RC tranmsitter ?  You may just need to re link the AC and the RC.  I have instuctions on how to do this on my tips page towards the bottom of the page in RED .

****ONCE YOU Load  THE LATEST UPDATE TO THE AC ( with Success ) REMOVE THE SD CARD AND DELETE THE SD CARD with the FW update on it , YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE FLYING WITH UPDATES ON THE AC, it can get you inot trouble  if.   Always remove the SD card after  the update and put in a different SD card for recoridng  , at the very least erase the SD card after and update and then put back pn the AC.

Someone correct me if I read it wrong but I don't think so .

THE way it looks to me is he is up to date , can you have one of the engineers confirm my finding or confirm this yourself .  In my opinion he is up to date on version 1.11 on his system .

Ok for clarity when you say keep pressing the buttons do you mean press the mentioned buttons randomly or press them all at once and then release them, I'm a bit confused at how this is to be done?? Do I need to pwr up the AC after pressing all the buttons??

Ok here is what's happening when I turn the RC and open the DJI app  I have a dropdown arrow to select between the different versions of the inspire, but when I fire up the AC I get the inspire 1 and not the inspire1Pro??  Also I'm not sure of the DJI Go app version (see pic) cause the Permissions Request pg  it says DJI GO 4 on it? I'm using an ipad pro and downloading from the appstore is there another site to get the correct app for the inspire1 pro??

Ok can you rollback the RC even further to the previous one form 1.6.  If you have a Blueish light on the Rc it means that you have corrupted FW on the RC transmitter .

So see if it will let you rollback to the earlier version of FW.  Use the old go app device if you have it as well.

When resetting you press all of the buttons at once and then do the power down while still holding all 4 buttons .  I think you have corrupted FW and not something stuck in the Cache of the RC transmitter so this may not help you but worth a try .

Might need a helper unless you were born with 4 hands ....It can be done just tricky

Its the picture form your post above the second one down that has the picture of the Inspire but also a drop down menu to choose the Inspire PRO.

The left LED on your remote controller should change from red to green when RC and aircraft connection was established. What is the colour of that LED after switching the RC and aircraft on?

Henry I'm using a ipad pro I no longer have the mini4 (See first post) my current situation is that I rollback the fw in the RC  to1.6 for troubleshooting purposes only and now It won't update back to 1.7.8, it keeps falling.

I missed that out.

Did you ever try upgrading the RC firmware with other device e.g. iPhone or other mobile device?

The firmware of aircraft has been updated to V01.11.01.50 successfully, I also saw ''success'', all OP needs to do now is to update the RC to the latest version, what I posted in 2# is the method to force the RC to update. It works most of the time.

When the firmware failed to be updated, the RC will be recognized wrongly, what I posted in 2# is the method to force the RC to update.
Firstly, please make sure the aircraft has been powered off.
Before your power on RC, please keep pressing C1+C2+Video shutter button+Camera Setting Dial at the same time.
Then power on RC, then release all the buttons.
No matter what APP shows, please enter the main page--Aircraft Status--Overall Settings to download and update firmware again.
Please make sure you operate the steps above correctly, sorry that there is no tutorial video regarding to this, thanks for the understanding.

It's so weird Donnie, that I have read update instructions, I don't remember where, but they indicated to leave the f/w on the card, it official DJI instructions somewhere, I always thought that odd, specially if you also use an Osmo like myself

No, you should always remove it. As far as I am concerned, otherwise each time it fires up it goes through an update suquence .  Let me know you find it in black and white .
