I drive a Jeep Rubicon. I have an Osmo + with z-axis and off-handle camera mounting (extension) cables, car kit etc. I'm looking for ideas for mounting the X3 Zoom camera to the dash of my Jeep for off-road adventures. I live in Northern Nevada so mounting outside of the vehicle isnt a good idea because of teh extremely dusty environment. Would deeply appreciate any suggestions others might have...
I've used the DJI Osmo Vehicle Mount $75 suction cup mounting option with my Osmo Pro. I mount it on the windshield to the right of my rear view mirror in my JKUR.
I'll post a picture later tonight once I mount it up so you can see. Keeping the lens 2/3 - 3/4 the way up the windshield offers a good vantage point. It's also mounted next to a GoPro. It's pretty cool to see the two videos next to each other so you can see just what kind of angles you're getting while crawling.

Thanks! Looking forward to seeing the picture you can provide
As I have the Osmo Pro, i use the following components.- Osmo Grip & Camera of your choice
- Extension bar thingy
- Suction cup / vehicle mount
I power the osmo using the external supply and a custom cable : 12v outlet from the car.

Hi, sir. I would not recommend you mount your osmo outside of the vehicle as it is dangerous. Vehicle Mount will be a better choice: https://store.dji.com/product/osmo-car-mount?from=search. Hope you can shoot more good videos.
