I have a DJI Phantom 3 standard I performed a firmware update via SD card went out to test fly the Drone and lost signal drone crashed and fell about 4 foot with no visual damage now I have a red flashing light on the camera Gimbal and the RC will not connect to the drone at all I've tried real inking I've tried resetting the wifi signal I have looked to the end of the internet for support on this anyone have any suggestions

sad to hear that .. FW  problems , developers are working to solve it

Let me guess, your phone or tablet is a Samsung 8?  If this is the case, using an apple product like an IPAD Mini 4, or any ipad............should fix the multiple disconnects.

DJI has put out a list of what android products are compatible.  Do you have any friends with IPADS?

Try using one, your problems will most likely vanish.

Still does not explain why the RC will not connect to the Drone

Did you power on all components of the system(RC->AC->mobile device linked to Phantoms WIFI and Go app) or did you power on the AC only for the upgrade ?
Did you read the txt file on SD card yet???
May be the crash causes an internal damage or a loose plug.

For the firmware update I had all components turned on the RC will not sync with the AC and the text file just says update failed try again

What way is´nt linking? the control way or the WIFI?  If it´s the WIFI then reset the WIFI gimbal wheel and S2. Is it the control signal then go in the app to >relink RC< and push the link button on the AC.

Doesn't take much of a jolt to damage delicate parts inside.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news to ya, but the board cannot be bought separately.  It is included in the entire camera, gimbal set.  Costs around $225, or so.  Turns out, you can't even use one salvaged from another P3S, because it has to be calibrated to the camera and only DJI has the tool for this.  They won't even let the authorized dealers have it.  That's why you always see the entire set as one part.  Don't feel bad, I've been there too.

Just figured I would let you know my gimbal board came in today I replaced it and everything works fine not sure where you got your information from but it is no longer correct
